Max Benaud, our head butcher and co-owner, brings over 20 years of experience in the meat industry, including more than 10 years of global meat sales. Canowindra Butchery is his passion project, where he uses his extensive knowledge to share a commitment to quality products from primary producers, offering customers paddock-to-plate traceability. Max is deeply dedicated to sustainability in the meat and livestock industry, ensuring its viability for future generations.

Wal Stranger, part owner of Canowindra Butchery, grew up on Minoru Farm and has a deep-rooted passion for livestock. Animal welfare is at the heart of his operation, with a focus not only on the present but on ensuring a sustainable future for the industry.
