These Minoru Lamb Shanks come from our locally raised lamb on the family farm just outside Canowindra. Each pack contains two shanks (approx. 600g total), prized for their rich flavour and fall-off-the-bone tenderness when slow-cooked. Cut from the lower leg, lamb shanks are perfect for hearty, comforting meals.
Cooking Suggestion: For a simple marinade, rub the shanks with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and cracked pepper. Brown in a hot pan, then slow-cook in the oven at 160°C for 2–2.5 hours with stock, red wine, or tomatoes until the meat is tender and pulls easily from the bone. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, polenta, or crusty bread to soak up the rich sauce.
